I graduated as a Naval Architect from the University of Southampton in 2013 after which I pursued a PhD degree at the Fluid Structure Interaction group at the same university under the supervision of professors Stephen Turnock and Victor Humphrey During my project I developed models for predicting multiscale physics of cavitation using LagrangianEulerian methods as well as implemented the Ffowcs WilliamsHawkings acoustic analogy in OpenFOAM After completing my degree I carried on at the same group looking at hydrodynamics of underwater gliders within the EU BRIDGES consortium httpwwwbridgesh2020eu During this time I also developed my skills in experimental testing and electronics while developing custom dynamometry systems Following my postdoc I came to MARIN in order to continue solving interesting problems encompassing science and engineering My other experience includes carrying out freelance consultancy work and developing free teaching materials for users of the OpenFOAM CFD package In my spare time I also enjoy hobby robotics
