Introduction
Following my passion for sailing I started in 1998 at Delft University of Technology in Marine Technology and graduated in 2004 at the Ship Hydromechanics department. After my graduation I started working as a project manager within MARIN in the area of ship and offshore hydromechanics mainly for yachts and cruise liners. From 2011 Im responsible for MARINS Renewable ENergy Team RENT. RENT is a MARINwide team of specialists covering all the aspects needed to make offshore renewable energy a success. Within the RENT team my primarily focusing is on floating offshore wind turbines and improving the offshore operations. From my current position I can assist renewable energy company ship operators installation companys in improving their renewable energy concept and the offshore operations during installation and maintenance.
