MARIN tackles the first decommissioning projects

Last year MARIN was heavily involved in several heavy-lift projects concerning the removal of fixed structures from North Sea oil and gas fields. Most of these structures are at the end of their design life, therefore, their removal is a delicate process to avoid the collapse of the structures.
