Elevated Support Vessel passes tests with flying colours

In a world of mergers and ever-growing companies, MARIN has taken up the challenge to provide advice to new players in the field. Remedial Offshore took advantage of MARIN's presence in Houston and subcontracted the verification of the thruster capability for its new Elevated Support Vessel (ESVTM) design to MARIN USA. An integrated model test program and numerical verification study was carried out for this new vessel/jack-up hybrid concept to see if the design was fit for purpose. During this project, MARIN could combine a strong link to the Netherlands with direct support from our Houston office.
