A world first as the Adriatic LNG terminal is placed at final destination

September 16 last year, marked an historic milestone when the first offshore, gravity-based structure in the world for the unloading, storage and regasification of liquefied natural gas (LNG) was installed at its final location off Porto Levanto, Italy. MARIN's role in this pioneering project is outlined.
