The current paper presents the results of the research effort dedicated to the analysis of cavitating marine propellers using Boundary Element Methods. The results here shown were obtained with the code PROCAL being developed by MARIN as a fast analysis tool suited for design practice of marine propellers, and which permits the calculation of steady and unsteady cavitating flow around a propeller.
