Joint Industry Projects on FPSO Greenwater susceptibility and loading

The FPSO Greenwater JIP aims to provide a reliable and consistent risk based methodology to investigate the green water susceptibility and loading from the bow and sides of FPSOs in order to allow the definition of design loads. The project will setup a riskbased framework, identify screening methods for critical greenwater events and validate this with model tests. The project aims to develop a comprehensive load, response and design methodology.
The project is a joint initiative from ABS, BV and MARIN and is currently supported by Petrobras, ConocoPhillips, Woodside, TechnipFMC, Bluewater, SBM Offshore and Sofec. And still open to join!
