offloading operability 1

Closed

This JIP's objective is to develop and validate tools that can aid the evaluation of the design and operation, the assessment of limiting weather criteria and the safety of offshore offloading operations (risk assessment).

General information

The Offloading Operability JIP started in 2004 to develop and validate tools that can aid the evaluation of design, operation of limiting weather criteria, and the safety of offshore operations. Within the project, the user friendly time domain simulation tool SHUTTLE was developed. The tool allows simulation of the offloading behaviour of hawser moored shuttle tankers and their approach to FPSO or buoy.
