What will you be doing? As Project Manager, you will take the lead in acquiring and delivering a wide variety of cutting-edge projects. These projects support the full lifecycle of maritime structures, from design through to operational performance, covering ships, offshore structures, and beyond. You’ll manage and coordinate onboard measurement campaigns, ensuring high-quality data collection and analysis. Your role will be pivotal in translating complex data into insights for our clients and contributing to pioneering research initiatives. In addition, you will play a key role in accelerating innovations and shaping the future of maritime technology. You will contribute to strategic developments and provide expert advice to policy makers and regulators, helping to inform evidence-based decisions in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. Who are we looking for? We’re looking for a motived colleague with a Master’s or PhD in a technical field, such as Naval architecture, Aerospace engineering, Mechanical engineering. You recognize yourself in the following qualities:
Proactive in identifying tasks and taking decisive action within projects
Broad interest in hydro-structural systems
Eager to spot and pursue opportunities
Comfortable advising policy makers and contributing to innovation strategy
Fluent in English, willing to learn Dutch if not already proficient
Who will be your colleagues? You will become part of our Hydro-Structural Services (HSS) team within the Performance at Sea department. This department consists of 35 enthusiastic professionals driven by a shared mission: to make maritime operations safer, smarter and more sustainable. The HSS team plays a key role in this mission by focussing on structural integrity. We collaborate closely with the maritime industry to develop, install and operate advanced monitoring systems. Our work directly supports the energy transition, contributing to innovative offshore renewable energy projects such as floating wind and solar.
