Date8 Dec 2010
This paper presents results of computations for the 2010 CFD workshop in Gothenburg. It briefly describes the RANS method used, the particular treatment of the free surface boundary conditions, and the coupling between the RANS code and a boundary element method used for the propeller analysis. The computations for KCS (case 2.1 and 2.3a) and DTMB 5415 (case 3.1a and 3.2) are discussed in this paper, while the KVLCC2 computations (case 1.1a), including an extensive uncertainty analysis are described in (Eça, Hoekstra & Raven, 2010).
