A Volume Of Fluid (VOF) numerical program has been established to calculate the 3D behaviour of a fluid contained in an arbitrary tank under arbitrary motions. The proceeding compare the numerical results with a set of model test experiments. The good agreement observed allows to use the program for seakeeping calculation of damaged ships, further developpement are discussed.
