Simulating a Breaking Bow wave with a VoF RANS method

The breaking bow wave from the KCS case of the Wageningen workshop is simulated with an unsteady VoF RANS method, using the code ReFRESCO. The RANS simulation damps initial unsteady waves. As a result, a more-
or-less steady averaged flow can be computed using a relatively large time step size.
Although the computed overturning waves and vortical structures do not look unphysical, the actual breaking of the
waves is not modelled: there is no turbulent mixing of air and water. Therefore, the physical realism of such VoF RANS predictions may be quite limited.
