CFD Calculations for Free Running ONRT in Head Waves

This paper describes the simulations done for the ONR Tumblehome (ONRT) – Course Keeping in Waves case of the Wageningen 2025 Workshop on CFD in Ship Hydrodynamics. The simulations comprised hydrostatics, incline, and roll decay conditions, self-propulsion and course keeping in head waves. These simulations were performed with the in-house CFD solver ReFRESCO.
