In the Sea Trial Analysis (STA) JIP an industry standard was developed for speed-power trials upon delivery of new ships by the yard. Following the completion in 2006 participants decided to continue as STA Group for the exchange of speed trial experiences and to guide further developments.

- Recommended Practice for Speed Trials
- Recommended Analysis for Speed Trials
- QSTAP- speed trial analysis and reporting software.
