Introduction

After a study in applied pfysics, I started to work at MARIN (Maritime Research Institute Netherlands). During the years, I worked in several disciplines. From calm water resistance, speed power predictions and hull desing via simulating offshore offloading operations to my recent position at the nautical department. Here, I started with human factor research applied in MARIN's manoeuvring simulators and also on board.
