Abstract
It is well known that the weather can have considerable effects on the delivery reliability of an LNG supply chain. These effects will become even more important when the receiving terminal is located offshore. Presently most operability studies consider the transport and offloading independently and do not account for the coherence between the subsequent transport chain stages. This paper presents a realistic example, showing the extensive capabilities of the newly proposed combined approach. This approach consists of a complete simulation of the LNG transport chain, accounting for the offloading operation as well.
