Intro
Prosafe was awarded two major contracts for the supply and operation of the Ningaloo Vision FPSO for Apache’s Van Gogh field, offshore Australia and the Petrobras Cidade de Sao Mateus FPSO for offshore Brazil. Being responsible for the engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and operation of the FPSO, Prosafe asked MARIN to carry out an extensive series of model tests in its Offshore and Seakeeping and Manoeuvring Basins for both FPSO concepts.
