For the aNySIM time domain simulation program a series of model tests will be carried out in the Shallow Water basin this month. Main purpose of these tests is to obtain tests results for a complex multi body operation that can be used as a validation case for aNySIM. You are welcome to be present during a model test demonstration on May 25th, 1300 hrs.

The following functionalities will be validated:
- DP modules
- Ballast modules
- Lift modules
- Hydromechanic interaction
- Morison module
For the installation project three stages are foreseen: lowering the Jacket, lifting the top side from the barge and installing the top side onto the jacket.
Tests will be carried out for each configuration in calm water and in waves. The same situations will be simulated in aNySIM and the results will be compared in a validation study. Prior to the tests in waves the thruster interaction will be measured.
