Together with Delft University of Technology (TUDelft) and INHOLLAND, MARIN organises the traditional design and sailing contest. On Friday January 20, students will be challenged to design, manufacture and sail the fastest model sailing boat in Wageningen.
One of MARIN´s most important strengths is turning hydrodynamic and nautical technology into innovative products for the maritime industry. With this yearly design and sailing contest MARIN wants to contribute to the practical experience of students and give new ideas a chance to develop into future possibilities. We challenge all students participating in the ´Sailing yachts´ minor of the Delft University of Technology and INHOLLAND to apply their knowledge, inspiration and creativity to design and build the fastest model sailing boat of the Netherlands.
