DNV has carried out an assessment study of the Safetrans software package as it is being used by the industry to develop transport design. DNV’s assessment is quite supportive and it makes a valuable contribution in setting SafeTrans as an industry standard for the design and the analysis of weather-routed transports.
MARIN and the SafeTrans UserGroup are quite pleased with this result and are looking forward to the further enhancement of the tool and its use on many new applications.
