MARIN organised a seminar in Vietnam on October 28 during the Vietnam Oil & Gas Expo. More than 100 interested participants were welcomed, covering a wide range of maritime fields ranging from Inland shipping, Ship design, Port and Infrastructure development, Marine security, Hydraulics to Offshore. The attendees were impressed which was reflected by the many questions and resulting discussions during the Q&A session.
As an added bonus MARIN installed a vessel simulator enabling visitors to be captain and try their hand at commanding a very large container vessel entering port. For many an eye opener as to what it takes to manoeuvre such a large vessel.
The seminar was concluded with a well attended dinner in the evening.
