Joint Industry Projects are one of the most important steps in the development, sharing and application of knowledge within MARIN. Currently, more than 25 JIPs promote the transfer of theoretic knowledge to concrete applications in industry, and combines customer contact, market-driven research and the development of practical tools.
Pooling resources at a pre-competitive level, all parties enjoy the cost savings of shared investment and benefit from research they could not afford alone. Joint Industry Projects form a significant part of MARIN’s business.
