In Spring 2010, MARIN, in keeping with tradition, will organise two courses:
“Hydrodynamics of Floating Offshore Structures”, March 22-26, 2010 (5 days)
In this course the emphasis will be on the hydrodynamic and aerodynamic aspects relevant to optimising the design of monohulls, semi-submersibles, mooring layouts and DP systems.
“Ship Hydrodynamics I, March 8-12, 2010 (5 days)
Various hydrodynamic aspects of the design (resistance, propulsion, manoeuvring and seakeeping) will be presented during this course in a balanced and integrated way.
Both courses are suitable for existing professionals and for newcomers in the maritime industry. Participants should have a university degree in naval architecture, ocean engineering, equivalent education or experience.
