To celebrate our 75th anniversary, MARIN is organising the symposium 'Future Waves' on April 17, 18 & 19, 2007. During the symposium we want to mark out with you the route we will navigate in the years ahead.

During the FPSO Forum and FPSO JIP Week, progress reports are given on several on-going FPSO Joint Industry Projects. New proposals for JIPs are also identified and discussed. In addition, open discussion is fostered on technical issues facing the industry today. www.fpsoforum.com

Offshore Technology Conference 2007
MARIN is again set to be present at the OTC 2007 from April 30 - May 3 in Houston, USA. Meet us at the same place as usual: Dutch Pavilion, stand 2616.

Vessel Operators Forum, Wageningen, the Netherlands
The Vessel Operators Forum is a platform for participants of the Joint Industry Projects Lashing@Sea and SPA (Service Performance Analysis). The first succesful meeting took place in Hamburg in December 2006.

R&D Seminar

Again MARIN will be present at the Europort Maritime, the international trade fair for maritime technology in ocean shipping, inland shipping, shipbuilding, dredging, fishing and related sectors. Ontwerpwedstrijd / Design contest
Het MARITIEM RESEARCH INSTITUUT NEDERLAND (MARIN) in Wageningen, is wereldwijd een belangrijk onderzoekscentrum voor de maritieme branche. Kennis en ervaring in hydrodynamische en nautische technologie wordt door MARIN omgezet in innovatieve producten. MARIN beschikt over een groot aantal faciliteiten voor het op schaal testen van scheepsmodellen en het trainen van scheepsbemanning. De omstandigheden op zee (wind, stroom, golven) worden er zo realistisch mogelijk nagebootst.

The Maritime Research Institute of The Netherlands (MARIN) in Wageningen is one of the most important research institutes for the maritime branch in the world. Know-how and experience in hydrodynamical and nautical technology is being transformed into innovative products by MARIN. MARIN has a number of facilities where scale models of ships are tested and crewmembers are trained. The circumstances at sea (wind, current, waves) are simulated as realistic as possible.
