Invitation
MARIN will host the 11th International Ship Stability Workshop in Wageningen. The aim of the workshop is to have an extensive exchange of ideas and methodologies on the stability of ships. The focus will not only be on technical (hydrodynamic) issues but also on regulatory developments and operational safety. We look forward to your attendance and submission of a paper.

Date and Venue
The workshop will be organised from June 21th until June 23rd, 2010. The venue will be the Hof van Wageningen Conference centre (www.hofvanwageningen.nl), located close to MARIN offices.
Key Dates
Papers and presentations
Papers will highlight the latest developments and challenges in the field. In principle papers are considered on an invited basis only, but prospective authors are free to submit an abstract by e-mail to Dr. F van Walree by the deadline stated above. Abstracts must contain 300-500 words, indicating contents, objectives, methods and results. Abstracts must also provide the affiliation, postal address, phone and fax numbers and e-mail addresses of authors and co-authors. Acceptance of papers will be based on these abstracts . All abstracts and papers are to be submitted in English, which is also the official workshop language. It is the intention of the workshop to focus on discussions rather than on presentations of lengthy papers. Therefore, papers should not exceed 6 pages and each paper must be presented within 10 minutes to allow for a 15 minute discussion. Here you can find the ISSW 2010 Proceedings Word Template.
Accommodation
A number of rooms have been allocated at the Hof van Wageningen Conference Centre. For bookings send an e-mail to info@hofvanwageningen.nl. Double rooms at € 90 per night, incl. breakfast. For registration, please fill in the registration form. Alternatively, fax the form to the conference secretary, see below. The registration includes all lunches, dinners and drinks during the Workshop as well as a printed and cd copy of the proceedings.
