Ship Hydrodynamics course I, February 13 - 17 2012
Objectives: Hydrodynamics plays an essential role in ship design. In this course the various hydrodynamic aspects (resistance, propulsion, manoeuvring, sea keeping) are presented in a balanced and integrated way. The physical background as well as the techniques and tools available today will be dealt with. Case studies will be offered to the participants for direct application of the acquired information to selected practical problems.
