Transfer of expertise and knowledge


In addition to Joint Industry Project and Cooperative Networks, MARIN transfers expertise and knowledge through training. Courses for designers and architects are held periodically throughout the year.

MARIN organizes the following courses:

Ship Hydrodynamics I, February 13-17 2012, MARIN (Netherlands)

Hydrodynamics of Floating Offshore Structures, March 12-16 2012, MARIN (Netherlands)
This course is intended for both existing professional staff and for newcomers in the maritime industry.
Participants should have a university degree in naval architecture, ocean engineering, equivalent education or experience.

Courses tailor-made
In addition to the traditional courses on Offshore and Ship hydrodynamics, MARIN organises courses on request, either at our premises in Wageningen or on location. These courses are tailor-made, in a broad range of subjects and are always given by our own experts. Lectures can be alternated with case studies to give participants hands-on experience.

Cancellations
In case of cancellation by the participant, the following rules apply:
• Cancellation within 2 weeks of the start of the course: 100 % of the course fee
• Cancellation within 1 month of the start of the course: 30 % of the course fee
• In other cases the cancellation is free of charge.

In case MARIN has to cancel the course in view of insufficient participation, the entire fee will be refunded.
