Ship Hydrodynamics II, November 1-5, Wageningen, the Netherlands
The Ship Hydrodynamics II course will be held at our headquarters in Wageningen, November 1-5, 2010.

Nowadays, ship design has become a hi-tech industry in which many complex calculations and testing methods are used. For the modern naval architect it is important to know how these techniques work to be able to ask the right questions to their suppliers and advocate the merits to their clients. The advantages but also the limitations of CFD methods will be discussed. Other topics include choice of propulsor, propeller cavitation and erosion risk, propeller-induced hull pressure fluctuations and energy-saving measures.

The course is aimed at the more experienced naval architect and although recommended, it is not necessary to have attended Hydrodynamics I.

Registration can be done using the registration form.
